Dendroecology, Quantitative Wood Anatomy and Stable Isotopes: from xylogenesis to tree rings

The Summer School will provide basic and innovative knowledge on different aspects of wood formation: from xylogenesis to quantitative wood anatomy, from tree-ring stable isotopes to data interpretation.

The course will include field-work training and hands-on laboratory sessions. Students will be involved in all aspects of tree-ring research: from sample preparation to data analysis and interpretation.
