TESAF in Uzbekistan: a new partnership for climate-resilient agriculture

From May 25 to 31, Prof. Paolo Tarolli and Dr. Aurora Ghirardelli from the Agricultural Water Management research group at the TESAF Department visited the TIIAME National Research University in Tashkent (ranked 1° in Uzbekistan).
During the visit, they explored future opportunities for cooperation on joint projects and exchange programs for students and researchers, delivered invited lectures to MSc and PhD students on key topics related to climate change adaptation strategies in agriculture, and participated as invited speakers at a conference organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Innovation Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This visit marks another important step by our Department toward international collaboration in the field of sustainable agriculture and climate resilience.
