Brief description: The AGROBOX project aims to solve the problem of point source pollution deriving from the discharge of water polluted by agrochemicals following phytoiatric applications in agricultural, including the washing of tractors and sprayers. The problem of point source pollution today is really felt both for the operators of the sector (farmers and public authority), and for the final consumer, but unfortunately the available technologies are not innovative and reliable and there is no clear legislation on the topic. The aim of the project is to develop innovative equipment capable of sustainably managing the waste water derived from phytoiatric applications contaminated with agrochemicals, through innovative high efficiency filtration processes. This system would allow to avoid the spillage of polluted waters and therefore the pollution of agricultural soils and surface waters, but specially the reuse of filtered water for subsequent applications. This practice will reduce waste and will allow manage the water resource in a sustainable way. This system therefore guarantees an improvement in the protection of water resources in agricultural environments and economic advantages for the farm.
