The lectures will take place at the University of Padova in the historical building Corte Benedettina (Sala Montecchio) in Legnaro (province of Padova, Italy). The Corte Benedettina is a former monastery dating back to 1400 A.D. and recently converted to university use. Legnaro is about 10-km away from the centre of Padova and easily reachable by public transport (see getting there).

The field trip will take place in the pre-alpine Posina river catchment and the small experimental Ressi catchment. This area has been the focus of several fieldwork activities, which will be illustrated during the visit.
